期待什么

Stage managers work in the rehearsal room tracking every part of the performance; from the actor's movement, to props 和 lighting 和 sound cues. Our stage managers are a direct connection between what happens in the rehearsal room 和 the other crews that are working to build the production.

在表演, the head stage manager calls cues to run the show, while the assistant stage managers run backstage scene changes.

典型的时间表:
Stage managers meet for all rehearsals, from 3-6 p.m. Monday through Friday in the Marge Bradburn Studio Theatre. For the musical, some Saturdays are included closer to tech week.

Ms. 达 has proudly served as 戏剧导演 at Blanchet since 2021. She absolutely loves working with her students—they are the next generation of great theatre artists! Put into dance classes at a very early age because she “wouldn’t hold still,” Ms. 达 is a triple-threat performer, 和 a member of the Actors Equity Association since 2001. 专业, She has performed in countless productions at theatres such as The 5th Avenue Theatre 和 Village Theatre, starring as Mae in The Pajama Game, Lila Dixon in Holiday Inn, Judy Haynes in White Christmas, Val in A Chorus Line (twice!), Nellie Forbush in South Pacific, Roxie Hart在芝加哥报道, Maggie in The Noteworthy Life of Howard Barnes, Ilona in She Loves Me 和 many more. 在全国范围内, she has been seen onstage in Legally Blonde with Boston’s North Shore, Beatsville at Sarasota’s Asolo Rep, as well as roles at La Jolla Playhouse, Sacramento Music Circus, 和 NYC in the pre-Broadway lab of Something Rotten. Mr. 埃里克森 has been a part of Blanchet 戏剧 since 2007. After graduating from the University of Portl和和 moving to 西雅图, he was working 和 designing around 西雅图 before l和ing at Blanchet. Although in the beginning Mr. 埃里克森 just worked with stage crew after school, he was drawn into a full-time position teaching technical theatre 和 woodworking as well. His background is in scenic 和 lighting design, 和 he has designed professionally for Theater Schmeater, Book-It Repertory Theatre, 和华盛顿 Ensemble Theatre. When he’s not working on a Blanchet show, Mr. 埃里克森 can be found building furniture in his garage at home. He holds a BA in Theatre Design from the University of Portl和和 a Master of 艺术 in Teaching from 西雅图 Pacific University.
